Rhythmic and seething at times, and oozing forward with a creeping sense of desolation, Trepaneringsritualen conjures forth bleak but mesmerizing visions of the end-times.

dp re/searches and ponders existences and behaviourisms humanimalistically via audio de/construction, psycho-acoustics and sonic rituals. sound as communication in direct and primal form, a tool of metaphysics, a conscience, an unrestrained language. sound as a means to activate primordial shared emotions otherwise hidden by civilised experience. dp's work engages, invites existentialist rumination, demands awareness, endorses sentient and environmental e/quality and encourages intervention and responibility; therapeutical aspects are acknowledged; a form of release is evoked, a liberating cleansing, a sound catharsis opposing the omnipresent reduction of existence, that puts us in touch with our sentient origins as with the realities of our times. dp rings in the era of hum animal.

B°TONG
B°Tong is the experimental drone project of Chris Sigdell. His work takes the listener from ambient isolationism and experimental microsounds to a noisy orgy of sounds. He takes samples from television, radio and film, which are then processed with recordings of his voice and others.
In a live-situation Chris Sigdell relies on instruments like microphone, metal-sheet, electric toys and kitchen utensils. The sounds made with them are fed and put through various effect-pedals giving him that trademark sound.
